There are a lot of little boys in our family, but finally a little girl has arrived on the scene to join in the fun.  She arrived back in April on the 1st birthday of my other sister’s little boy – at least we’ll never forget their birthdays!

I made this quilted play mat for her before she was born, so I’d tried to use colours suitable for a girl or boy.  Having just looked at my Pinterest boards, it won’t be long before I’m making other bits and bobs for her – there’s so many nice things to make for little girls!
