Give some love to three blog posts you’ve read and loved in the past week, and tell us why they’re worth reading.
I’m a regular reader of Love Learning and her post ‘Our Day Out (at the DfE)‘ caught my eye. As a teacher trying to work in the middle of the current upheavals in the world of education (thanks for each and every one of them Mr Gove) it’s useful to read bloggers who have their finger on the pulse and can share their understanding of all the changes that are going to happen during the forthcoming academic year but the DfE haven’t actually finalised (or really thought through) yet. This post summarises her visit to the DfE and the morsels of information she managed to glean from it.
I’ve recently discovered the blog ‘Gas and Air‘ and normally read the birth stories with a lovely warm fuzzy feeling inside! This time, I read it with a lump in my throat and tears brimming in my eyes. Thomas’s Story recounts one woman’s experience of a still born baby. The story is told with such loving care that you cannot fail to be moved by it – I applaud her bravery for dealing with what is often a taboo subject.
And finally I have chosen ‘Cadbury Creme Egg Ice Cream‘ from What Jessica Baked Next. What’s not to like about this post for goodness sake – I can see me buying many, many packs of mini Creme Eggs for this baby!
Happy Easter!:)
