A little while ago I posted my first ever quilt which I had made for a friend of mine whose first baby was due. I didn’t know if she was having a boy or girl so I made it reversible with green and blue for a boy on one side and pink and orange on the other for a girl.
Sophie has now arrived so it looks like they’ll be using the orange and pink side! I obviously had to make a card to congratulate them on their new arrival so I started playing with the wooden letters I’d bought in a local toy shop.

I drew around the right letters on the back of some craft paper I had making sure that I drew the letters backwards so they’d be the correct orientation when I cut them out. I stuck them on and hey presto! A personalised card!
You sound like such a crafty person and I looked at some of your stuff and it is just beautiful. I can cook but not a crafty bone in my body. I enjoyed checking out your blog and looking around here. Have a good weekend.

Thanks for stopping by! Your food looks great! I love experimenting with cakes but I’m not very good at varying my mains menu. I’ll have a look at your site for inspiration!
