September Productivity Prompt Day 8: Donate Items to Charity

How often do you look at items around your home and think ‘I never use that anymore,’ or ‘I’d have so much more room in my wardrobe if I just got rid of the stuff I don’t wear.’

Anything that is in a good enough condition to reuse could be taken to a charity shop. For larger items, they might even collect it. Let’s collect some items together.

Walk around your home armed with a box or bag and notice those things that you no longer use but could be re-used by someone else. Place them in the bag or box. When your container is full, place it by your front door so that you take it with you when you next leave the house and take your donation to a suitable place.

For those of you who’ve been inspired to donate to charity, either now or in the past, how did it go? How do you feel now that you’ve done it? Add your comments below.

Come back tomorrow for your next nudge into productivity.
