February: self-love Prompts days 18-28

Here’s the prompts for this week. If you’d like a gentle reminder each and every day, follow me on Instagram and these gentle nudges will appear on your feed.

Aim for three things to begin with and then add to them as you become inspired.

Sometimes we all just need a little reminder to do this.

Somewhere on mailing list e-mails there’s a little link marked ‘unsubscribe’. I’ve been clicking on this link since the start of the year and it’s saving me time and money because I’ve removed the temptation.

You might feel a little bit silly; don’t worry, no-one can see you!

If you had an hour/ evening/ day to yourself what would you do with it?

I’m terrible for taking anything more than the time it takes me to eat a sandwich. Take a break, go for a walk, read a magazine. Just stop.

Get out your lotions and potions and give your feet a treat.

Even if it’s only 10 minutes, grab some time to yourself.

Each day I write about what’s been the best thing today. It’s great to look back when I’m having a bad day to help me to remember the good stuff in my life. You can read about my journal here.

Aim for three to begin with and then add more as you become inspired.

What was your favourite way of loving and celebrating yourself during the month?

This is part of a series of posts throughout the month. The idea isn’t to challenge yourself to complete the whole month (and then beat yourself up about it when you miss a day) but to give you some friendly encouragement to look after and celebrate yourself in an easy and accessible way.

Come back next Sunday for the introduction to the March prompts.
