As I wrote in my launch post last week, I’m linking the prompts for January to being active as I’ve signed up for RED January for the second year.
As a member of the Facebook group for the event, I read a lot of posts from participants who are worried that they’re not being active enough. More anxiety is not what we need in life, the whole point of RED January is to improve your mental health!
As a result, I thought a series of prompts that might nudge people into small actions that can easily be fitted into other commitments and don’t seem too overwhelming were in order and that’s exactly what you’re going to get.
You’ll find the complete list of prompts below which you can print and stick on your fridge or in your planner if that’s what you need. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll get a gentle nudge each day to complete a little activity. Don’t feel bad if you can’t/ won’t/ don’t want to, it’s not a challenge where you have to complete every single day to receive a certificate! It’s just there as a little encouragement to help you to take small steps to improve your mental health and a little way for me to give something back.
Enjoy!
