I went into town the other day to buy a card to celebrate another new arrival. My husband’s step sister has had number four so I needed to get her a card to send our best wishes. I get really annoyed when I’m in card shops as they’re so expensive – surely I could do this myself! I went into The Works to see if they had blank cards and envelopes. They had lots to choose from so I bought a pack of 50 for £3.99 which should keep me going for a while.
I cut out some triangles to make bunting with from a paper pack I’d received free with a craft magazine and stuck them to the front of the card I added the letters in pen and drew a line to represent the string. Just need to make a little gift for when we go to visit the new arrival.

So simple and adorable. I hope to be making one of these or a ‘girl’ one in the next two weeks! Visiting from tipjunkie!

I’m making a stack of them – everyone I know seems to be having babies at the moment!
